Due to the critical failure of both mercenary companies, the M.R.B.C. has issued the following statement/contract.

Commander wolf has issued a statement regarding the recent crises on Hall, particularly commenting on the loss of life,

Today has seen a loss of life comparable to no other, i would like to take this opportunity to declare the units involved an enemy of peace and that of the Inner Sphere. i am hear by declaring their M.R.B.C. assets frozen with immediate effect and further extend the established contract to include all known and future associates.

The bounty on these units is 10,000,000 C-bills for the commanders of each unit, and 1,000,000 for each Mechwarrior, dead or alive. preferably dead.

The units frozen assets would be placed in a trust for all the survivors of hall were an M.R.B.C. peace keeping force was also destroyed in the defense of local non-combatant's and there associated infrastructure.

an M.R.B.C led aid group will be set up to establish viable means of relocating the surviving populace. A special relief center has been set up on the home world of the Wolf's Dragoons. were upon all persons involved would be screened for the war orphan program and upon graduation would be permitted to enter the ranks and become part of the Wolf's Dragoons family.

The gathering reporters look around at each other and then check their equipment for the upcoming press release, 20 seconds later the 2nd door leading into the conference room opens and through steps a well dressed man with a 1,000 c-bill haircut, smile that would scare a shark, makes his way to the podium and places some documents down before clearing his throat:

"Good evening gentleman and ladies, my name is Spence McWaters, Resident Lawyer for the Grays Ghosts mercenary unit and i am here to address the current accusations that have been leveled against my clients within the last 24 hours, first off let me begin with my sincerest condolences for the victims of this great catastrophe and let us hold a moment silence for those who lost lives and for those who survived"

SM: OK let me begin with a brief synopsis of what has happened, Yesterday at around 3:30pm local time, a nuclear reactor on Hall sustained damaged and subsequently went into meltdown resulting in an explosion, resulting in major loss of life and property damaged is estimated to run into the trillions, at the time of the explosion several forces were operating in the area of question, while yes it is true that my clients were in the vicinity it should be noted that combined forces of Marik, Word of Blake and Wolf Dragoons were also directly in the vicinity as well, while reports are sketchy and investigating the area will impossible due to the high levels of radiation, let me assure you that my clients are protesting their innocence and will cooperate in any resulting investigating and i wish to denounce the actions of the MRBC declaring my clients as wanton criminals and their so called proven allegations as frivolous as there has been no investigation yet, just baseless accusations from House of Marik and Word of Blake, who might i add were engaged in hostile activities against my clients, i open the floor to any questions.

Instantly the room explodes in shouts of questions and flashes of a dozen of so more cameras going off

R1: Spence, Spence, Trisha Gowen from Interstellar Today, So are you saying that your clients, Grays Ghosts are NOT responsible for the catastrophe that happened 17 hours ago?

SM: Trisha, like i said earlier, the matter needs to be investigated in order to determine who did this, as you are aware, theaters of war are a dangerous place and while all due care and attention is made to make sure that civilians are not caught in the crossfire, those that choose to stay in a warzone do so at their own risk, next question please.

R3: Mr McWaters, Roger Neal from Freepress Associates, we have received an anonymous tip that one of the battlemech pilots was intoxicated during the "action" and that it was he who fire upon the reactor causing the explosion, what do you have to say on this?

SM: I can categorically say that none of my clients pilots operate their battlemechs under influences as this is a violation not only of MRBC policy but many other interplanetary laws concerning operating such units while in a unfit state, next question.

R3: Roger Neal again, we also have unconfirmed reports of several assaults of a questionable nature against female citizens before the incident and given the past accusations against the ghosts on matters similar, can you possible comment on this?

SM: Those reports are that, unconfirmed and those PAST incidents, my clients were completely exonerated of those so called accusations and until this reports are investigated any reports of these allegations will be subject to charges brought against those of slander.

In closing i wish to add that several ghost pilots were caught in the explosion and 1 was killed, my clients are not likely to cause an explosion of that kind of destructive power and allow themselves to be caught up in it, also it should be noted that the Wolf Dragoons were infact guarding the nuclear reactor, however before that incident happened they withdrew from the area, while this evidence has not as of yet reported and so far seems to been have covered up, i will be the first to report and show this evidence in the light off day, let me say it once again, Wolf Dragoons withdraw from the operational area BEFORE the explosion happened, i for one find this very highly suspicious and combined with the fact that the MRBC, which i might add that Wolf Dragoons runs, have almost instantly condemned my clients without anysort of investigation or evidence warrents investigation into their actions during the engagement and with that this press conference is over.

And with that Spence gathers his papers and leaves the room, meanwhile the reporters still are shouting questions and cameras are still flashing.

The Word of Blake would like to annocence, that while we have definite proof that the Scruffy Oikes were responcible for the destruction of Hall's main chemical plant, due to BattleROM recordings from our 'Mechs, we have no proof that Grey's Ghosts were even at the facility at the time of it's detonation, despite what Mr McWaters claims, hence our Blessed Order placing a bounty on only the Scruffy Oikes commander at this time.

If Grey's Ghosts prove themselves to be innocent of the crime laid against them, we would be happy to offer them a contract with our Blessed Order, away from the vile slanders of the AMC and Wolf's Dragoons.

while Wolf's Dragoons stands by its now proven accusations due to reports from members of the seventh commando group. we would like to announce the full evacuation of survivors and would like to announce the formation of 12 new units from the war orphan program, upon the completion of training these new units would form the beginnings of a new battalion sized group particularly aimed to enforce all merc contracts and police all mercenary efforts effectively creating an independent MRBC unit. its first task to publicly bring the rogue groups to justice,

Spence McWaters: To the Word of Blake Precentor-Martial Cameron St Jamais and to the MRBC, shortly you will be receiving the the battle data from the pilots involved in the action of that fateful day, furthermore having reviewed the recordings myself, i cannot find any evidence that implicates my clients of any wrong doing or any evidence of their involvement in the catastrophe, also i submitted the data to independent analysts and their review of the data has also been included which also exonerates my clients as well.
As to continued accusations from the Wolf Dragoons, i would like to see their "so called" proven allegations regarding my clients due to the fact that any and all evidence lies within the contaminated zone which nothing can enter, futhermore our own data shows the Wolf Dragoons withdrawing from the operational area, a fact that they themselves still will not acknowledge, before the tragic event, so any "evidence" that they claim to have about the event should be viewed with skepticism as they were clearly not in the area at the time, it seems to be that the only parties that have benefited from the tragedy are in fact the Dragoons themselves.
To address Precentor-Martial Cameron St Jamais generous contract offer, i will gladly review any contract that they put forward and i am sure that Captain Chevalle would relish the opportunity to work with a prestigious organization such as yourselves.
