The long road south is the name given to this set of narrative interlinked games using the iron brigade rules set and being played within the background of the American civil war.
Synopsis:
During the period July 1stth – July 3rd 1863 what many describe as the pinnacle battle of the American civil war conflict took place at a small town called Gettysburg, it was here that the Confederate forces met General Meads Union Army of the Potomac in a major three day long battle that resulted the Confederate General Lee stopping his advance into the northern states and being forced to retreat back across the Potomac river into the state of Virginia once more.

Narrative Overview:
This narrative takes place as the army of north Virginia begins its long trek south during late July 1863, within our story the rebel army gets fragmented as it travels south, with a corp. sized element that was acting as a rearguard loosing contact with the main army body and taking a different path that takes this player based element towards the town of Kearneysville. Of course general mead of the pursing union force can not simply let this corps. Sized element escape so must detach a relevant force to purse this rebel force before it can continue south and link up once more with General Lee’s main confederate army.
