Demonic leagion army

as some or some of you many not know, i am doing a demonic army of slanesh, im currenty having a problem

what codex's do i need for the army for warhammer?:confused:

if anyone could help me out here... or possible some game addvice it would be nice...

(currently i have)-
Deamon prince
Deamon lord
Converted chariot
and 60 deamonetts

i know its not much but im working on it :)

hordes of chaos army book i think you need im not 100% sure

im sure i needed some storm of chaos book as well... im not sure... il have to ask when im next in store

For the Slaaneshi Daemon Legion you'll need the Hordes of Chaos book for the basic stuff and items and the Storm of Chaos book for the actual Daemonic Legion listings...

I do not know if the items for the Daemons are in the SoC book, but they are in HoC, hence why i said that too, i hope that helps Ash :)

yeah iv managed to get the stats for all of the four armys in the storm of chaos book... *cough* ¬¬, so i will only be needing the hoards of chaso... muahaha beaware the fog of death ^^.

Bah your pitiful magic wont hurt us ash, but its always a good idea to get the book with your army in so i would suggest getting the Storm Of Chaos book

it mite not be legal but it is very fun to play i should know iv got a tzeench demon legion but u probably should get the SOC book even if u have the stats and stuff its usefull

Now that you have a decent core army of deamonnettes ( i always recommend 3 decent size regiments in 2000pts+) and some hard characters to lead them you want to start focusing on your flankers and hard hitters. Slaneeshi chariots are not the hardest but they still cause impact hits and with movement 20 steeds who always attack first they're great at flank charges.
Id also add a couple of units of mounted deamonettes as these are great for getting rear charges and surrounding the enemy. And not to mention the fact at how scary it is when a cavalry unit can go from its deployment zone to behind you in one move.
Finally a greater deamon is an iconic leader you can base the background on and always looks good in the centre of the god's deamomic legion. The keeper of secrets is not only a cool name but is great for writing stories about. It may be that your greater deamon protects the greatest secret of the chaos gods, or one look at the enemy general will lay bear all his dark secrets. Plus the model's pretty funky :D
