STAGS today?

Well gentlemen, I have just turned up at the new location for STAGS fffor the first time to be told another group has it booked untill 4. What is going on, is it not on today?

It was a double booking, the scouts apparently booked this 12 months in advance, it's a shame was my first time at the new hall too and i didn't even get close enough to see the building! :D

Oh well theres always next time, but i'm sure when we really get settled in here things will start running smoothly as normal, so no worries.

Apologies for the delay guys.

The committee arrived at the hall on Sunday to find it already in use by the scouts group that own the hall, who were conducting scouts leader examinations. Apparently they book there meetings 12 months in advance.

This was just a simple mix up due to a break down in communication. I have spoken to Mike, who owns the hall, who was as surprised as we were! He has confirmed we are good for the rest of the year, he had not realised it was one of our Sundays that had been booked.

Apologies to all those who had made great efforts to get there, and to everyone else who were just looking forward to a good day gaming, it's just one of those things unfortunately that are beyond our control.

STAGs will resume uniterrupted on 18 July, looking forward to seeing all of you there!
