Hive tyrant

with the upcomeing release of the new tyranid book i decided to get out and dust off my hive tyrant with the hope of comeing up with a new less lame colour scheme after the shockingly bad idears i had last time round especially on a forge world model of all things well here is the results i hope it makes up for past mistakes :p hope you like it will be doing the same with the rest of the army but as always am open to help and advice :)

id like to see this one in the flesh so to speak as i bet the scales look nice, what colours were used on that spike for the body and scales?

i did that with scab red then highlighted with red gore then blood red then a mix of blood red and blazing orange then blazing orange took a while to do it but managed to do it in an evening and the body itself is highlighted with various different shades of grey :)
