I actually painted some BFG stuff this week, been sitting around for a few months gathering dust, so it was about time I did.
the ships are part of the Armanian navy, these ships are part of the actual fleet itself, not the security forces, but they do take part in guarding the Praxis Corridor from pirate activity if required.
(I'll expand on this fluff at a later time, but in basic terms the Armanian sector has a large winding corridor of space passing through that is relatively calm and safe for travel called the Praxis Corridor, the Armanian navy and Armanian naval security forces guard this region of space against pirates as imperial warships and merchant ships pass through it)
First up the Gothic class cruiser and newest cruiser addition to the Armanian Naval Forces ANF Two for Flinching

One of the oldest vessels in the ANF is the Lunar class cruiser ANF Forward Unto Dawn, this vessel under the command of Captain Augustus Rhinefelt was involved in heavy pirate activity several years ago when a space wolf convoy was attacked by a large pirate force, including 2 Slaughter class cruisers, the Forward Unto Dawn maneuvered itself in the path of the guns of the 2 enemy cruisers and bore the brunt of the attack shielding the Marine transports and crippled astartes strike cruiser "Froststorm ", the Dawn was crippled herself and limped back to Armanian space with the Astartes vessel, she was repaired and as a token of thanks her prow eagle was sculpted from the bones of a legendary Kraken from Fenris and the crew of the Dawn were counted as wolf brothers ever since.
she accounted for 4 Iconoclast pirate vessels, and 1 of the 2 cruisers that day.

Another one of the oldest ships in the Armanian navy is the ANF Fair Weather a dominator class cruiser, at the moment undergoing refits after a severe ship wide power failure several months ago in the middle of an anti pirate mission, this failure lead to the destruction and capture of 3 imperial transport ships, thankfully empty at the time.

A rare sight amongst imperial fleets is the Jovian class Battlecruiser, Armania is blessed with 2 such hips, this one the ANF Hopeful is relegated to training duties at the moment, teaching up and coming new officers the finer points of carrier duties, but before this she has had a so far short but very promising career, which hope to continue.
