Biff

The planet Malloran 6 on the far outskirts of Segmentus Obscurus was once a shrine world, visited by thousands of pilgrims on a yearly basis it held a small barracks of the sisters of battle and a minor planetary defence force. Since M38 it had been infested with Orks as part of the great Waaagh of Warlord Hesketh, however it had not fallen then and even though from time to time to Orks rose up from the deep jungle recesses they did little to trouble the forces stationed on the planet.
It's only other claim to fame came late in M41 as it was from this planet that the rise of Kaptin Biff began...
"The Kaptin sat upon his throne, his mood was black and his dark red eyes glowed in the light from the fire pit. The body of Grutlack his favourite weirdboy lay before him, the deep wounds gouged into its body too grievous even for a painboy to repair.
The attacks on the settlements of Malloran 6 had not gone according to plan, whilst the Kaptin had not been defeated he had also not been able to capture more territory or the resources needed to sustain a lengthy siege of the major cities on this world. Both times he had been stopped by the might of the space marines, first from their screaming drop pods had come the blasted dreadnaught, despite gleefully blowing up the drop pods and ripping both the arms off the dreadnaught it had refused to die and the Kaptin had quit the field as night fell, most of his boyz were still with him and those that died would have released enough spores to ensure in a few months time a new force would be available to attack again.
His second attack had come after an alliance with the metal men, they had appeared in his camp one night and convinced him to attack from the eastern edges of the jungle, and he had agreed approaching the battle with glee. Against him were the sisters of battle and a small force from the Ravenguard. After charging towards the sisters and securing the eastern edge of the battle despite the heavy losses to the fires from the many flamers the Kaptin looked to the west, not a single metal man was in sight and the Raven Guard came crashing towards him, cursing the betrayal he once again found himself having to retreat recovering most of his forces, but this time the great weirdboy Grutlack lay dead.
And so now he had retreated, deep into the jungle to his great hall and his defended fort, his orks slowly regrouping and his scouts out to find a new weirdboy. He would attack again and finally take this rotten planet, but for now he waited, brooding on his wasted opportunities and on a way to one day have his revenge on the metal men"
